Managing Organizational Change
The division of Planning, Policy, and Budget is responsible for the coordination of changes to the University's organizational structure. Changes to the organization structure impact many functional and logistical aspects of campus such as the relationahip of academic programs to colleges and departments, budget allocation, assignment of positions and operating expenses to org units/cost centers, system workflow and security to names just a few. It is our goal to assist in the review of campus reorganization/restructuring proposals and in the coordination of reorganization implementations to ensure that critical functional and system processes are addressed. We are also responsible for maintaining and ensuring the integrity of organizational units and their relationships which form the hierarchical structure in the SAP Human Resources system.
